Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

To better serve you and your pet, we make every attempt to schedule your appointment with the same Doctor each time you visit. Although all of our Doctors consult on every case, we realize that continuity of care is very important to your pet's health.

All appointments are scheduled between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 8am to 12noon.

Hospitalized pets

If your pet is hospitalized with us please rest, assured that although we are not a 24 hour facility per se. we do have a skilled technician that lives on our property. After hours, she makes frequent trips into the hospital 'rounding' to make sure all hospitalized patients continue to do well. Our treatment nurses and our Doctors also visit the hospital  to monitor our patients and report to you dIuring closed business hours.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, please place your dog on a leash and assure that he is properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.

If you have a cat or kitten, please try to use an appropriate cat carrier or leash so there are no unpredictable escapes.

For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover. American express, Care credit, Debit cards, cash and personal checks.
